Terms of Service
Version 2026-09-26 · last updated September 2026
What Glenda is
Glenda is a phone and chat agent, operated by hiGlenda LLC ("we," "us"), that home inspection companies ("tenants," "you" if you're a business customer) use to answer calls, quote pricing, and capture leads on their behalf. These terms cover both tenants who sign up to use Glenda and the callers who reach a tenant's business through it.
The service
Glenda answers calls and messages on a tenant's behalf, provides pricing quotes using each tenant's own configured pricing or connected inspection-software system, and captures caller information as a lead for the tenant. Glenda does not book appointments directly — where scheduling is available, it can hold a time slot and send the caller a link to finish booking through the tenant's own system.
Automated quotes and information
Pricing and availability are generated automatically from a tenant's configured rules or connected systems. We work to make this accurate, but we do not guarantee that every quote, availability window, or answer given by the agent is complete or error-free — where pricing can't be determined with confidence, the agent is designed to say so rather than guess. A tenant is responsible for reviewing and honoring, or correcting, any quote given on their behalf, the same as they would for a quote given by phone staff.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Glenda to send unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent communications, to misrepresent a business's identity or services, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service. We may suspend or terminate access for use that violates these terms.
Connected accounts
If you connect a third-party account or system to Glenda (for example, a calendar or inspection-software connector), you're responsible for having the right to grant that access, and you can disconnect it at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how connected-account data is handled.
Availability
We aim to keep Glenda available around the clock but don't guarantee uninterrupted service — phone and cloud infrastructure Glenda depends on can experience outages outside our control. We'll work to restore service promptly when that happens.
Fees and billing
Glenda is sold as a monthly subscription. Each package includes a set number of call minutes per billing month; minutes beyond that are billed at the package's published per-minute overage rate on the same monthly invoice, unless you have chosen in your dashboard to have Glenda stop answering calls when your included minutes are used up. Call time is totalled across the month and rounded up to the next minute once; calls shorter than fifteen seconds are not counted.
Payment is by card through our payment processor, charged at the start of each billing month. Optional onboarding help is a separate one-time charge shown before you pay. Prices are shown before checkout and may include applicable sales tax. If a payment fails, we'll notify you and keep your service running for a short grace period while you update your card; if payment is still outstanding after that, Glenda stops answering calls for your business until it is resolved, and a subscription that remains unpaid is cancelled.
We may change package prices. Existing subscribers keep their current price until we give at least thirty days' notice of a change. Fees are not refundable for a partial month.
Cancellation
A tenant may cancel at any time from the billing page of their dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month; Glenda keeps answering until then. Your business phone number is held for thirty days after cancellation in case you return.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, hiGlenda LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of Glenda, including lost business or missed bookings, beyond amounts actually paid for the service in the preceding three months.
Text messaging terms
These terms apply to anyone who receives a text message sent through Glenda for a business that uses it, such as a home inspection company.
- What you'll receive: texts about an inspection request you made — a link to finish your booking request, open inspection times, a sample report, or a note that your request was received. A text is sent only when you ask for one, say yes when it's offered on a call, or tick the text-message box on the business's booking form. Texts are never used for marketing.
- How often: it depends on your request, usually 1–3 messages per request.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- To stop: reply STOP. You'll get one confirmation and no further texts from that number.
- For help: reply HELP, contact the business directly, or email support@higlenda.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- How we handle your number and consent is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the version and date at the top of this page when we do, and material changes will be communicated to active tenants directly, who will be asked to accept the new version.
